Is the phoenix a myth?

Most know the story of the phoenix. A bird that lives for a long period of time. When he is ready to be reborn, he builds a nest and is consumed in flames and from the ashes, a new phoenix is born.

Personally, I doubt that this is literal. I do not believe that such a bird actually, existed. It's more a representation of what the energy is about.

However, this does not mean that there wasn't a phoenix. From everything I've found over the past 20 years, I can only say that not only is the phoenix energy a very real thing, but it has very clearly manifested here.

There have been many people I have met who have either had an experience with this energy, or say they are the energy.

The story of the phoenix seems to be spread across the world and over the years. There have been many different names, but the general myth is intriguingly the same. It's always a bird that is reborn.

I can only suggest that while the story may well be a myth, there is truth to the myth, as all myths contain seeds of truth.

Why a blog?

This is my attempt to create an online journal to keep a record of events that I feel I can share publicly.

What will follow is my somewhat clumsy attempt to put all the pieces together of who and what the phoenix is and how it relates to todays world.

Most of what is written here may well seem delusional and most certainly it's not for everyone. However, there are indeed some who will find this information useful, and for you, I write these journals.

My name is Gary. Since 1987, I have had the phoenix consistently in my life on a daily basis. It was not something I sought or encouraged in any way. Still, it happened and continues to happen.

I am no longer looking for answers. I am now attempting to share these experiences with others.

For the record, I do not drink, take drugs or engage in any mind altering activities. I've never even been drunk. All that I will write here is with a clear head.
